As we move into the second half of our inaugural year of operation, School Sport Professionals (SSP) is proud to celebrate a strong and successful launch. Since opening membership in late 2024, we’ve built a dynamic community of professionals dedicated to advancing school sport across Australia. From exclusive webinars and practical resources to sector-wide insights and policy guidance, SSP has quickly become a valued source of support for those delivering school sport at every level.
In 2026, weโre excited to expand our impact through a brand-newย series of state-based SSP Conferences. These events will offer tailored, local professional learning and networking opportunities – designed for those working in and alongside school sport. Each conference will feature guest presentations, thought leaders, and practical workshops relevant to state-specific contexts.
Later in the year, weโll bring the entire community together for ourย inaugural National Conference, uniting members from across Australia to share, connect and shape the future of school sport. With a focus on innovation, leadership and collaboration, the national event will be a landmark moment for our profession.
While we had originally planned to host the inaugural national event later this year, we believe it will be more meaningful and impactful to first deliver a series of state-based events. These will allow us to engage with local contexts, build stronger regional connections, and gather valuable insightsโlaying the groundwork for a truly relevant and unifying national conference to follow.
