Step 2 of the collaborative project “The Future Landscape of School Sport” has now been completed, with the working group meeting online to explore various items in depth. A summary of the discussion and next steps in this project can be accessed via the PDF link below.
Specific focus areas include:
- Injury prevention, injury management & concussion protocols
- Insurance and risk mitigation
- Extreme weather policies
- Esports and alternate program offerings
- Officiating and people management
- AI and automation for school sport events
- Enhancing communication
- Cost management, third party providers and accounting software
- Budget constraints and alternate funding models
