About your presenter, Liz Grant

Liz has more than 35 years’ experience in helping businesses achieve significant growth. Liz is an experienced business mentor for both start-ups and scale-ups and works with larger businesses on upskilling employees. She has qualifications in business, finance, marketing, training, and coaching. Liz has worked in a range of industries including retail, communications, finance, property, logistics, training, mining, personal services, professional services, membership services and not-for-profits.

Liz has delivered seminars and business growth programs for The Geelong Chamber of Commerce, the City of Greater Geelong, Warrnambool City Council, the Shire of Corangamite and the Shire of Moyne, NAB, the Victorian State Government and the Federal Government. She is an early adopter of AI and is an avid watcher and learner of developments in AI and how it can be used to improve outcomes for both business and community organisations.

Webinar Details

To join the online meeting, you will need to register using the link that will be emailed directly to our members a few days prior to the scheduled date. Simply complete your details and you will automatically receive a meeting invitation and Teams link. If you have any specific questions or areas of interest regarding AI, please list them in the text field in the webinar registration form.

Once the registration form is completed, you will receive an automated response from Teams which will include relevant meeting details, including the meeting link and password details. Please note that all webinars are recorded and made available in the Resource Hub on the SSP website.

Who can attend this online webinar?

What platform will the webinar be available on?

The webinar will be presented via Microsoft Teams, with a webinar registration link made available to all members. Individual registration is required, otherwise you will be unable to join. You do not need to have a Microsoft Teams account to access the webinar. You can join the webinar via a web browser or the Teams app.

Will a recording be available if I can't attend?

Yes, all of our webinar recordings will be available for members once they login to the School Sport Professionals website. Under the "Membership" menu, visit "Resource Hub" to view all videos and access exclusive resources. (note: this link will not be viewable unless logged in).

Will members be able to engage with the webinar presenters and other attendees?

Absolutely! One of the key goals of School Sport Professionals is to encourage engagement amongst members. You are welcome to email specific questions to Paddy prior to the meeting (via engage@schoolsportprofessionals.au), or utilise the communication functions during the webinar.

Teams Webinar Settings

When you are ready to join the webinar, you will be prompted to check that your camera and microphone are both connecting properly. When you join, please ensure that your microphone is muted and remain muted until you are invited to provide a question or comment by the host or panelists. Your camera will be switched on by default upon joining, however you are welcome to turn your camera off if that is your preference. If you would like to engage with others during the webinar, it is courteous to have your camera switched on so that other members or panelists can see who they are engaging with.

I am not familiar with Microsoft Teams. Is there information available to help me get to know the Teams platform better?

Can I join the webinar if I don't have a Microsoft Teams account?

Attendees can join a Microsoft Teams webinar without a Teams account by following these steps: 1. Register for the Webinar: Attendees must complete the registration form and receive a confirmation email with the webinar link. 2. Open the Webinar Link: Click the webinar link provided in the confirmation email or invitation. 3. Choose a Joining Method: Upon clicking the link, attendees will be directed to a page with two options: - Join via the Teams app (if installed) - Join via web browser (without needing an account) 4. Join via Web Browser: - Select the option to join via the web. - Enter a name when prompted (this will appear to the organiser and other attendees). - Click Join now to enter the webinar. 5. Wait for Admission: If the organiser has set up a lobby, the attendee may need to wait for the organizer to admit them to the webinar. This process works on most modern browsers (e.g., Chrome, Edge, or Safari), making it easy for anyone to join without downloading Teams or signing in.
